USE THIS HASHTAG FOR ALL OF YOUR SOCIAL POSTS: #RallyAcrossAmerica
Welcome NEW Ambassador!
Thank you for becoming an Ambassador for Rally Across America! Here you will find a checklist of items that will help you complete your rally.
"How to" Rally Guidelines
- Extend invites to 25-35 attendees.
- Designate the recipient 501c3 of funds generated - it's your choice.
- A donation of $100 per vehicle to enter is encouraged, but you know your audience better than we do, so the suggested donation is up to you. We want to be inclusive here. As along as all of the funds collected for the rally go unburdened to the chosen charity. Funds should go immediately to the charity and discuss ahead of time the best way to issue donation receipts to your attendees. This is a great photo op.
- Assemble route guidelines (back road tours during low traffic periods, ie Sat or Sun mornings work best).
- Set a Date and Time with a designated gathering point (try to keep the gathering to a half hour as not to cause any congestion or neighborhood concerns).
- Use the template in the toolkit for easy social media sharing. We can help!
- Adhere to all current social distancing guidelines.
- We recommend communicating with local authorities to gain approval or permits if necessary.
- We recommend communicating with local police to gain their support - obviously we must stress that all traffic and safety laws be strictly adhered to, no burnouts, speeding, or showy behavior.
- When the rally is over we would like to write a story about your event that we will post and share and you can share with your attendees too. Please fill out the questionnaire that will help us write a news story. We will post it on our website. Be sure to include how much you raised so we can highlight your success.
- Encourage your participants to like us on our Facebook Page Rally Across America and tag us on Instagram #rallyacrossamerica. The more buzz the better. Momentum helps raise more money for charities across America.
